Jackie has been a quilter for over 10 years, making quilts as
wedding presents and baby gifts in the first instance, before
turning her skills into a successful business in 2008.
Whilst
attending the first ever “European Machine Quilting Course”
in Ireland in 2007 she was introduced to one of the
teachers, Sharon Schamber. Sharon won the top prize at the
Paducah Quilt Show in Kentucky, USA for two consecutive
years, the equivalent of the “Quilt World Cup”.
Sharon’s
quilts are world famous and several are now in the Quilt
Museum in Kentucky. Sharon gave Jackie the inspiration and
encouragement to believe that she could run a successful
business as a machine quilter.
